Hi nit_22, I'll take step 2 CS in December and I've just started preparing. I use Kaplan Step 2 CS book (first edition), FA, and usmleworld. I have a very busy schedule, that's why I've started so early but if you can focus exclusively on the exam, I think 3-4 weeks are enough.

The one that you can buy in any bookstore, by Kaplan Medical. But I went and bought the second edition (ISBN: 0743273451) since posting here. It's better organized and it comes with free online clinical case walk-throughs. These case walk-throughs actually show how to think a differential for step 2 CS and organize your thinking before and during the encounter. All the best with your exams.
