HEY GUYS, I HAVE MY 2CS IN HOUSTON, NOVEMBER 8th, I HAVE 2 QUESTIONS:
1) DO YOU KNOW IF THERE WILL BE ANY TROUBLE DUE TO KATRINA?? I HAVE SEEN IN NEWS THAT MANY PEOPLE OF LOUISSINA IS GOING TO HOUSTON (ASTRODOME, ETC,) FOR A WHILE, WHAT DO YOU KNOW??? 
2) DO YOU KNOW ANY ACCEPTABLE HOTEL NEAR THE CENTER??

Now the whole houston is evacuated due to Rita. I think the sequelae will be over by then. And I hope there will be no more weather problem at that time. Actually, mine is on 7th nov at houston.

Common guys this is only this is still sept.I dont think there will be any kind of problems in Nov.
Hotel---there is Days inn close by.I stayed there for my exam

i watched the news in the tv, and it seems they are good news, Rita will end in a week approx., so it seems it wonīt be any trouble.

So we don't have to worry about the situation too much. there is no need to change the center. By the way, what resources are you using for cs? I have FA and UW subscription. I think these two will be enough for cs.

FA= First Aid for step 2cs (itīs a book).
I have those 2 resources, too. I think itīs enough and of course, practice with somebody.

do you have the number for the Days Inn? or address? I think I might have to stay there, my exam is on the 31st.

No, I donīt have it. I will stay in Clarion Inn. But in usmle.org in the 2cs section, you will find all the near hotels to the center. There is a list of them with webpages and everything. Check it out!.
