Dear friends ,with all ur help I have moved to the next step ie.applying to the prog.Here is what I have done so far
.Got my token from ECFMG.
.Mailed my documents (9/14 recieved by ECFMG on 9/16/2005)
.Submitted CAF (9/17/2005)
Now please tell me..
1. shud I wait till my documents are scaned or shud I just start applying to the programs.
2.Since I can't move from Phoenix ,I have 4 IM prog avaiable here in this city.Shud I apply to other sp aswell(paeds, psych)
3.What r the chances that Iwud get my interviews b4 2nd week of Dec as I am planning a trip to Pak on Dec 10th.
I wud greatly appreciate ur help.Esp I am really confused about my question # 1.I know I am kind of late but am afraid that if I apply without my documents being scanned, wud it work.What happens if u apply b 4 ur documents are available for the prog. As always hoping to get help from all friends.Thanks

how ru?i guess if u cant move from phoenix then u start applying to other specilaities.but only if u are interested.if u dont ahve visa issues its better.start applying beofre documents are scanned cause atleast they will have ur usmle transcript and caf.
december is not a good time to travel out of the country as november december is peak interviuew season.but if have to go then .........

Thanks dev, as always.I got 91/225 in ck.Little less than step 1 but I am happy with it.I am waiting for my cs and have doubts how I did in the test.
I have two options for traveling DEC 10 th to Jan 8th or Dec 17th to Jan 14th.It is kind of imp as I haven't gone to Pakistan for last 6 and 1/2 yrs.Hopefully when I get my residency I wont be able to go for another 3 or 4 yrs.I am still confused ,but thanks for ur advice.There are 4 IM prog here in phoenix so I guess I'll apply tonight.Thanks again dev and good luck for ur residency.
