hi dev,mash and fetus,
i too am studying for step 3 and want to join you guys, though i am not as far ahead as you all yet. i was reading kaplan step 3 when i gava it a break and am reading crush for step 3 now.
i am also awaiting my cs result..it should be out next week.god help me!!!
initially i meant to give it in nov but the interview process has sidetracked me.let's see though.
good luck to you all in your prep and to white for his result. it will be good..don't worry.

yes yes iam right here dev?did not check ur message, fingers crossed, result not yet arrived, is it possible to call any PD for the result? i mean would they give results? well i dot know, iam not aware, if u have any accqaintance then its different,isnt it? this waiting is killing me, any suggetions from anyone else ,please advice asap

u dont need to know any program coordinator. u can call anyone where u have applied to and ask him/her.GL

yah i think most of my low performence was in history,investigations, labs and applied concepts thats what it said behind the score report, what books are u people studying ,well iam starting with swanson then kaplan 3 , palnning to do UW and some more questions if any of u suggest any new sourse, i belive there is a ethics web site can u help me find, dev thanks for ur prompt reply , to all my friends who are giving the exam see that u dont make my mistakes ,conc on family medicne and ethics, whole exam is about them and ccs practice.

white - cheer up! you have an experience and still time to pass it , in comparison to us..
I just started solving MCQs(NMS review for step-3) with complement' material from FA.
I m waiting for my Qbook and probably ll start nxt wk..
please tell me - is anyone subscribed UW? How r they? How r their CCS?
And how do u like Qbook?

fetus well how did u find nms,because iam planning to buy ,when are u givin the exam, and i started UW Q good ,excellent,for ccs my experiece UW enough
qbook i statred doing and stopped as i am allergic to kaplan material by now, i dont know whether i do it later or skip it,
also started strong medicine
do u think we have to go through health maintainance and ambulatory medicne from mksap/medstudy, has anyone has any suggestions

Regarding NMS - it's nice for review as they cover main topics,some tricky Qs, but their explanations are good.I want to compare it to Qbook.
Besides, i downloaded from this site - Fisher's MCQs. The Qs are difficult - but logical and the explanations are high yield
2 questions:
1- what's "mksap/medstudy"? can u give me the link of these?
2- why r u allergic to Qbook? Did u use the last edition(aug 2005)?

i mean do u have theory aswell as questions in nms,,what about nailthe boards is it any good ,can u send me those fischers q please and ,well mksap/medstudy are for boards and inservice exam what resisdents do, no one studys all of it but some topics might help,i was just curious, i did q bank and i did kaplan mateial last attempt, q bank was not as good as UW, after that i did not dare to do q book,i have 2004 edition

*NMS - Qs & explanations, no text(like FA or Crash step 3).But still their explanations are good and comprehensive to me.
*MKSAP - i know , but these are more than the step 3 requires, I think .. don't you think? According your exam experience - do u think these will be good or pretty tough?
