Dear bbb,
Can u answer one of my queries please?
Are those LORs important for shorlisting for the interview or are they only matter only after the invitation? In other words, do you or your PD normally read them and take into account before you invite a person for an interview? thanks

I read them as they catch my eye. I believe that my PD reads them prior to an interview.
