Can any one tell me about the toxicity of Oxygen treatment (surely if it's overdose)?

  • muscle twitching and spasm
  • nausea and vomiting
  • dizziness
  • vision (tunnel vision) and hearing difficulties (tinnitus)
  • twitching of facial muscles
  • irritability, confusion and a sense of impending doom
  • trouble breathing, anxiety
  • unusual fatigue
  • incoordination
  • convulsion

    thanks for posts..

    there are many things..

    1.there is neurological effects (Idiopathic epilepsy may occur with exposure to oxygen at more than 3 atmospheres absolute.)

    2. Lung toxicity ....

    3.Retrolental fibroplasia (oxygen appears to stimulate immature retinal vessels to spasm & proliferate, resulting in obliteration hemorrhage, fibrosis, retinal detachment and finally blindness,)
