1. Histoplasma capsulatum a fungus that cause histoplasmosis.

H. capsulatum is a dimorphic fungus that exists as a mold in soil and as a yeast in tissue. It forms 2 types of asexual spores: tuberculate macroconidia ( important for laboratory identification) and microconidia which if inhaled transmit the infection. In usa the fungus is endemic in central and eastern states especially in Ohio and Mississippi River Valleys. It grows in soil, particularly if the soil is heavily contaminated with bird droppings.

2.Coccidioides imunitis causes coccidioidomycosis.

C imunitis is a dimorphic fungus that exists as a mold in soil and as a spherule in tissue. Is endemic in SW USA and Latin America. In soil it forms arthrospores that are very light and are carried by the wind so can be enhaled and infect the lungs. The desease is called " valley fever" in California and "desert rheumatism" in Arizona.

thanks for answer, Flying.smiling face..review method of replication in bacteria and Fungi imperfecti

Spores may be formed sexually or asexually. Asexual spores are formed by mitosis from the hyphae of a single organism. The spores produce individuals that are genetically identical to the parent. Sexual spores result from the fusion of two opposite mating types. Asexual spores include conidiospores, chlamydospores, and sporangiospores
