hello everyone... i sent in all my documents to ecfmg, except for my lor's, which i am going to get by the end of this week. I was wondering whether i should apply to programs now or after i send in the lor's. i called up ecfmg ... they said instead of waiting, i can designate the letter writers while applying to the programs and then they will send in the lor's once ecfmg receives them.i'm not sure what i should do exactly... i feel like i'm already late in the application process. anyone with any info let me know please. thanks. bye.

hi dr singh... in order to designate letters of recommendations, you need to go into ur account in myeras and then click on the "letters of recommendation" link. They will then ask you to write down the names of your letter writers in a particular order, i guess with the most important one being first. That's how i did it. That's what they mean when they say designate your letters of recommendation. hope this helps.

BBB please answer this question by rema......I'm very interested in knowing the answer as well(in the same situation).....and after reading Dia Huq's message it seems she too would benefit from your answer on LOR and applications.I heared some applications were shelved and without LOR and the PD/PC do not give it another look even much later.
