After a priliminare year, What is the next step? How and when can you apply for a PGY2 position?
I did not see any place in eras for an application for a PGY2 position.
Any suggestions please?

A PGY2 position is applied for either through ERAS or individually to each program. A lot is going to depend if a program has openings for any reason, and the programs won't know about openings until after mid-January when current residents start telling program directors that they plan on leaving after their first year.

its a risk.. but u cud try for neuro unmatched positions too.. id rather sit tight for a year..
