Dear friends plz help me make decision.I am trying for an observership in a hospital . but it might take few weeks.My question is shud I wait till I get the observership to send my application(ERAS +CAF).Is there any option of adding my observership exp/LOR latter ,after I am done submiting my application.Please give me ur advice.I just started this application process few days ago and still learning and don't want to make any mistake due to my ignorance.Thanks.GL

Hi hamidi... interview slots get filled early.. a friend of mine who's a first yr in a hospital in NY told me that on SEPT 2, they had 700 applicants already... so apply early... Submitting your CAF... you won't be able to add your observership thingie in your CV anymore after that... with regards to the LOR, you can always submit another LOR but since these programs only review your applications once or twice, adding an LOR after a few weeks of applying to that program won't make much difference, unless you already have an interview with that PROG and you can expound on your observership during your interview... since it's not in your CAF, and will definitely count towards you getting matched. All the best... apply early...

Thanks a lot trishue for ur time and help.I am going to find out about observership in a day or two but I'll send my documents today also I'll submit my CAF.Good luck for ur residency.
