hi I wanna start with 2ck in a week want to know what to read ,any suggestions are wellcome , I heard kaplan set is very poorly written ; any better option. i also heard kaplan q bank is mostly step 1 repitition , so is it worth it and besides usmle world what other q's books are available. I want to aim for a high 90's. I would be highly obliged .

hi,i am a kemcolian too..just gave step 1..planning on starting step 2ck prep..wud u like to form a study schedule and co ordinate preparation.??

thats nice to hear but 3 things, 1.i would start properly on1st oct. hopefully (still my result wait is distracting me) 2.I am doing kaplan books, kaplan dvds, kaplan step2 qbook, step3 qbook and qbank, pretest series and usmleworld , boards and wards (and might do first aid , blueprints for paeds and psyc or obs.) 3. I am aiming for 3and half months , three readings complete of book and one complete go through all questions and revision of underlined in usmleworld. Hows that for you.
I have started surgery on and off actually , just to kill anxiety, i did kaplan book till specialities (which i would complete before 1st oct so that i could start with intern med on ist) I started dvds but this one was too plain for me so left them and i am doing pretest with this first reading.
Tell me how we could coordinate and if not much deviations with mine i would be happy to join in. anyway thanks for suggesting. regards (p.s. which session are you by the way)

I am in Pk, so very sorry. Hey ask any of your relative in Lahore (or somplace in PK) to buy it for you and send it to you. You can get at Union Book Shop (remember union , must have heard of it right)
