Kaplan Qbank USMLE

Dear all,

I just got my step 1 result. Got 96/237. Not outstanding but compared to what I was expecting I found it great.

I am applying today with step1 96/237 and step2 99/259.

If you have any questions, I will be glad to answer to the best of my knowledge.

A word of advice....have a good sleep the night before the exam. I have 650 and 630 on the NBME exams,82% on the kaplan q bank and 86% on the kaplan simulated exam cd. Most people with similar NBME and kaplan scores end up getting 99 but I got 96. I am not complaining but I wanted to stress the importance of having a good sleep. I slept for only 2 or may be 3 hrs the night before my exam and I was totally confused and unusually short of time during the exam. I had even to guess few Qs at the end of few blocks because I run out of time. But even with that I got a decent score...96. This shows that the exam is preety much doable. YOU ALL WILL DO IT. GOOD LUCK!

Thats an excellent mark ! Seems that all the hard work paid off in the end. Could you perhaps elaborate a bit about your preparations ?

Congratulations !

I guess in the end there is not much difference between 96/99 and 99/99.Scores are ofcourse just one of the factors that are considered.
