hello,

I am completely new, and am starting to study for the Step1. I was wondering which would be a better investment: Kaplan Home study program or Kaplan lecture notes?

Thanks!

Click on 'Books' - right upper corner on this page, then go to 'step 1 books', then to 'Review Books for USMLE Step 1', then click on 'comments' to 'Kaplan Medical USMLE Step 1 Home Study Program' and read my comment. I'm p53 - guardian of genome.grin

Also, I can add to my comment there that subject-wise organisation (as in lecture notes) is working better for the USMLE step 1 than organisation by organ systems (as in home study).

Hi, English is my third language and I had dificulties understanding in the biginning, but listening to the DVDs and with the books in front of my eyes it helped me a lot...good luck!

Kaplan notes are really good!

By the way, I didn't listen to the audio that goes with the Kaplan notes, although I have the CDs.

Somebody said the lectures help understaing. However, English is not my first language, and I feel much more efficient readying the notes, than listening to the lectures.
