ok, here goes my experience

my exam was somehow hard. i felt i had many peds, psych, trauma and med questions more than others, but i felt like the exam was fairly well balanced. as most people say, it focuses on common problems, it does have its twists though and i thought most of the questions were hard ( those people know how to come up with hard questions for even the easiest subjects). i felt it was closest to NBME the most, i only did NBME 1 and the exam was very much like it. But all in all i felt it was doable.

UW it also a very good practice material. it really helps, u can also learn how to pace urself while doing the questions timed.

I didnt have any problem with time management, was able to finish atleast 5 min before time. i thought i timed my breaks well cause i was able to stay alert for most of the blocks apart from the last one. i did 2 blocks, snack, 3,4,5, lunch, 6, a five minute break then 7&8.

what else? i guess this sums it up. GL everyone. I'd be more than happy to help if u have any questions. God help us all.

thank u sumie, kid...

level of difficulty, hmm, as i said, its most comparable to NBME i felt, UW is also similar in level of difficulty to the real exam nod

about my study materials, i used BP for all the subjects, read everything once, revised with doing Q's, pretest questions for medicine, peds and obgyn, and case files for medicine, and UW,i didnt do all of the questions in the above materials but did most of them. quickly went thru Crush the boards in the end too.

studied for 2 and a half months after work, took a week off before my exam. i had an average of 74% on UW with around 1400questions. that was my study experience.

i hope i answered ur questions. Good luck everyone! All this hassel will pass and u will feel great once its over.nod
