Repeat PAP smear

  #4

C.

IF the patient does not have any risk factors (eg multiple sexual partners, smoking) then it is not necessary to repeat the pap smear, even if it was inadequate, if the results are benign. Repeat in 1 yr and make sure you get the endocervical cells this time!
