As an IMG where can i take courses on BLS and CPR, i know the AHA has courses for cpr for people in the community(i was certified in high school) but can we take the medical professional courses on BLS and later ACLS?

You can take them through the American Heart Association. Is it important on your application? Not really. Most programs will make you retake it during orientation.

bbb can u plz tell me where to get this done. some one told me its the program that gives u the course..any comments plz I ll appreciate .thanx

the Program will usually give u enrollement to these courses and will also tell u the dates before joining mostly in contract. I came to know about mine from the email the program sent me alongwith the info about the contract.

Thank you BBB you just saved me 200 bucks. I was going to take it at MassGeneral but I was hoping it would be a plus in my application... looks like it will make no difference... righr?
