Why elevation of BUN without increased creatinine level is seen in the administration of steroids ?

Hang on...why would steroids increase the catabolism of proteins??? Aren't they supposed to channel all aa to make muscles?? Thanks...

I pick this information in UW, there are two scenarios that BUN increase, Creatinine is normal the other is GI bleeding, metabolism of hemoglobine in GI tube, and Urea reabsorption But for steroid, they don't have explanation
