I have taken step 1 and step 2 CS. my step 1 results are not good. I am taking step 2 ck in early october. I wish to ask if it is better for me to apply now or to wait for my step 2 results before applying.

Call up the different programs and ask them. It is a good idea to apply to some programs early and you can apply to others after you are certified. Try to split the list so that early apps will have some of your top picks and the other ones will also have some of you top picks (based on what they tell you on the phone)
