i dont know the pathophys behind it but it leads to a condition called pseudotumour cerebri which has all the listed features. also seen in vit.D toxicity

yes, itīs pseudotumor cerebri, i know that but i donīt know the exact physiopathogenic mechanism

pseudotumor cerebri is also a manifestation of sudden withdrawal of exogenous glucocorticoids.

well , pseudotumour cerebri is a condition when pts complains of severe headache, more often present retroorbitally, and increases by the movement of eyes, and also causes papilledema, ie swollen optic disc, with hmgs the cause of this is some problem with reabsorption of csf from the arachnoid villi, and hence increased intracranial pressure, so called coz it resembles features of a tumour. this is pst in 2 conditions ie vit a toxicty, and sudden withdrawl from corticosteroids{not sure about vit d toxicty} and hence the symptoms thanks ssrpk, drkpp, chemamr, u guys re great, i wish i were as good as u...

Still did not get how EXACTLY (thru what mechanisms) vit A/D causes the villi dysfunction with further impairment of csf reabsorption...Please someone explain!
