It's 2004 , so a bit change in trends may be . Like Radiation Onco , used to be v. good income, but with the funding cut, it is down than b4. Also patho, so alot of pathologist switch the speciality to ped, Int Med etc. Dermato, Radiology , Surgery .. Neuro , ? Cardio, general , plastic , ENT, opthalmo , orthoped are all time hot for AMG , so IMG need v. good marks & etc ., but not impossible ...... see famous residency , attending to private practice in IMG even in lady Also Anesthesia is IMG need to compete with AMG , though less tougher than previous AMG all time favorite . After all , money is not everything [though it is now while prepping for the exm] , we all love to work in the fields we enjoy & will ususally choose the one we like , love the most .

sorry....wish it was for residency...100000+ awesome...but actually during residency, everyone i know gets paid around 40,000 - 50000 a year....but don't forget tax!!! the actual cash amount u'll get is around 2,500 per month.... seriously...the taxes cramp the lower & middle class....
