72 y/o come b/c of 6 months of SOB when climbing stairs. Had MI 2 years ago
EF - 35%, med B-adrenergic blocking, lungs CTAB, S4 gallop, no peripheral edema. no chage on ECG, which of the following is most appropriate pharmacotherapy

a. alpha adrenergic bloking
b. ACE
c. angiotensin2 receptor blocking
d. nitrate
e. thiazide

what is CTAB?

Because of the decreased EF i should think in ACE INHIBITORS (B).

is that right?

a naive question. for patients with impaired lung function, is angiotensin2 receptor blocking better than ACEi?
