can someone please tell me the differentiation between maxillary and zygomatic fractures?

Maxillary and zygomatic fractures are the fracture of the Maxillary and zygomatic bones respectively. They both are different bones of the Skull. According to my knowledge Zygomatic Bone fractures are more common then the other because of the its prominent arch.

will they both present the same way clinically, or is there any particular differentiating feature (besides xray of course)

Yes its difficult to diagnose clinically. But Maxillary sinus drain into the nose. So there will be epistaxis in maxillay fracture and not in Zygomatic
