Hi all, I studied for 3 months. I was working full time, so could study only during the evenings and weekends. Kaplan Notes are more than enough. I read them 2 times. After the 1st reading solved UW questions. Scored around 55% initially, later 65%. But I studied the answers very carefully, making a lot of notes (to be revised later). I found the real exam a little easier than UW. UW really prepares you very well for the exam, nothing looks out of world (like it does in Step 1). From UW I knew what to concentrate on during my second reading of kaplan notes. My exam was a lot of OB/GY, Paeds, Infectious diseases, Renal/Electrolyte. I would say 5 questions from Step 1 but easy to answer (so ne need to read step1 notes again). Questions were not long (except the psychiatry ones). I finished all the blocks in 45 min, had ample time to revise all the questions. I took break after every block. Not a lot of pics/ECGS/Xrays (so no special prep needed for that). In summary: Its doable, Kaplan notes are enough, UW is must and start that as early as possible, concentrating a lot on explainations, do not worry about what you score. Good Luck everyone!
