hi friends, i have another question....if u get a case of say abdominal pain,can u start examination with eyes,neck glands,cvs and rs....AND THEN ask patient to lie down for abdominal exam OR should we straight away go to the problem area first?thanks in advance!

for the sake of saving time and focussing on the system that will help you make your differential diagnoses sooner, i think its better to finish the abdo exam and then go on to do everything under the sun(as you've pointed out), as long as time permits....but keeping the last 2 or 3 minutes for the closing remarks, counselling, eliciting concerns and answering questions of the SP and giving him/her your assessment and plan for investigations etc. etc. that's what i think...maybe there are others who think otherwise...
