Which are the pathologies related with Ring enhancing lesions in a contrast CT ? How do you differentiate them in the CT scan? Which is their distribution or particular features? Thank you for your replies

If in AIDS patient, think of 1. Toxo 2. primary cns lymphoma 3. PML ddx on CT 1. Toxo - mulitple, basal ganlia, spherical 2. Lymphoma - solitary, weakly enhancing, periventricular 3. PML - muliptle, do not produce mass effect
