I don't have an answer. I don't know what your school requires?

smiling facehi this is my first post.and its for u.i too am an img from india.some of my seniors faced the same problem regards psychiatry.our medical school had 2 weeks of psychiatry posting during the 3rdyear to final year.we didnt have a psychiatry posting during our internship.some of the residency programs asked for 4 weeks ofpsychiatry experience.so most of our seniors took letters of recommendations from some other hospitals dealing with mental care i.e i mean private hospitals for 2 more weeks and showed a total of 4 weeks psychiatric experience including the 2 weeks we did during our mbbs.it worked for all of them.take this LORS for a period after ur internship.

hope it works out well for u.bye buddy.
