CMI defects occur in Kawashiorkor cause proteins are defecient and Ig levels fall So goljan says kawahiorkor is more dangerous than marasmus

But Ig.s are a part of "Humeral immunity" what does that got to do with CMI?

i was thinking maybe simply b/c the precursors for protein and HEM synth which for both are aminoacids are missing. just a guess...
