Dear BBB, I have a question regarding my immigration status. Right now I am a conditional resident of the United States (I am married to US citizen). However, my conditions should be removed by the end of November this year. What should I put in my ERAS Application Permanent resident or conditional permanent resident? Does it really make any difference for PD if I am conditional PR or just PR? Thank you for your help! Fiona

It won't make a difference - my PD doesn't know that there is a difference. One of the changes in ERAS this year is the addition of a Expected Visa Status - so you can put in what you have now and what you expect to have at the start of residency. Good luck

Dear BBB, Thank you so much for your response. The problem is that when I am already the Permanent Resident (even conditional) the ERAS will not alow me to put the expected visa status, because, in fact, I am not on the visa. Is the conditional PR status going to decrease my chances of getting interviews? I am so nervous about it! Thank you again! Fiona

You should put permanent resident as your immigration status.
