what exactly is resting force in skeletal muscle? does it mean that without stimulus, there is still force on the sarcomeres? i'm delirious. need clarification!!! thanks

resting force is the pre-stretch force on skeletal muscles, which is applied at the two ends, which does'nt necesarily hv to be lifted by the muscle, but keeps it in proper allignment!
