Induration +5 mm for ppl exposed to tb and i/c, +10 is needed for high risks groups as homeless without i/c, children exposedetc and +15 for low risk ppl. Secondly Vaccination status is also not known in the Q nor it is said that child has measles which can get the ppd to come negative, so no need as such i guess to give any med.

B because, there is a potential risk that the child has already been infected. you don't have to wait for the PPD to be positive to start prophylaxis, in that case you will have to give treament (not prophylaxis)
