i am img , got 90 in step 1. is it enough to get in to internal medicine residency

Here we go again!

Plz. no q like this!!! it's so demoralizing for a hardworking, don't know what to do.. reviewee like me... BUT to give you a gratifying answer.. I would kill millions of mosquitoes & flies to be in ANY program w/ that score.

Well said Kerochi!!!...no worries though!I am sure all your hard work will pay off and you will get a great score too.....and dude!!many people would kill for this score...it all depends on the programmes you apply for...what are their requirements?plus the entire package...how good will your step 2 scores be?...and then eventually how well you do at your interviews!!!so..plz stop fretting and get down to studying for step 2!!!good luck!!

Hello sir i have question for u, when ever i ask any resident doctors, how much i have to score to get into residency, their answer is usaully 90 and above, if what you have replied above is true, then y do this people tell like this.Is it some way they are demoralising us.

What do u mean?!!

Is it difficult to get residency if your score is below 90 ?raised eyebrow

awwww..come on guys!..90 is quite a good score to have in step 1. Period.

now get up and get going on that Step II pronto... before someone complaints to the ECFMG about you guys!grinnod
