although very sensitive, when do we ever order MRI in osteomyelitis?.cant diagnosis be confirmed by bone scan and culture alone?

Diagnosis can be confirmed only by BONE BIOPSY.But if osteom is suspected n x ray is -ve,
RI is better than bone scan as MRI can tell u n diff bot SOFT tissue swelling as well BONY lesion which bne scan cant.
