What r the indications of Coronary artery bypass grafting and Coronary angioplasty?

CABG: Left main dis or 3 vessel dis & L vent dysfunction, pts who r symptomatic even after meds or have severe SE of meds

Angioplasty: used for significant lesions other than those eligible for CABG

i would like to add to no more a loser, all indications for cabg are correct, but we also prefer in diabais mellitus

There are no set rules for this. It depends on angiography of each individual patient.
In DM, the pattern of atherosclerosis is diffused and its rarely a single or double vessel lesion, so CABG is appropriate Rx. However there are always exception to this. In general if there is diffuse disease present in all vessels, then CABG is better, otherwise angioplasty is preferred.
