but why Pulmonary capillary wedge pressure has increased? I think it indicates cardiac failure? but Myocardial contusion should have changes in EKG or enzyme, which is not mentioned in the Q stem.

High PCWP shows the presssure of LV failure due to mycardial contusion resulting into pulmonary edema.B is the ans.Though pulmonary contusion can also give this picture but its rare

and the reason we don't choose myocardial infarction is becuase in the trauma setting, mycardial contusion is more likely? like the relationship b/t ARDS and pulmonary contusion (more likely in the trauma setting)??
