ans is C. low protein diet. As the kidneys fail, the remaining nephrons have to take over the load. By reducing this load, one can preserve the life of the kidney. Proteins in particular require higher levels of filtration. (i came a cross a researcch work that concluded as below. Reduce protein intake to <0.6gm/kg body weight; Appears to slow progression of diabetic and non-diabetic kideny disease In type 1 diabetes mellitus, protein restriction reduced levels of albuminuria Low protein diet did not slow progression in children with CRF ) but if i will still stick to low protein intake in anycase of CRF

why not b? I think this is nephritic syndrom and not nephrotic syn so restriction of sodium should be appropriate, but I don't know about calorie restriction

High calorie low protein die twill decrease the progression. So its C.In ARF there will be less Na and more K and so those options r not acceptabl.
