d) Normally Hct doesn't decrease in sickle cell crisis, if you see a decrease in Hct, think of aplastic crises due to parvo virus B19(makes you lose 20-30% of reticulocytes) or Folic acid deficency (very little stored in body, and that is rapidly depleted)
