I completed my med school including compulsory internship from India in october 2000. My diploma says that I was admitted to MBBS Degree on 24th dec while the degree itself is dated 22nd january, 2001. Please advice what year am I supposed to write as my degree year. I will really appreciate your advice in this matter.

hi amcore i too have same query. i m to register for eras and my date of final prof exam is 2001 but after internship i got degree in march 2003. if u get any info regarding this matter please let me know too. thankx in advance.

The degree year is the year that is mentioned on your degree. In dr_singh246's case, it would be march 2003 and january 2001 for amcore. Hope this helps!

your degree year is what is on your mbbs certificate that u got during the convocation......this degree is awarded on so and so on this date of november.....etcetc
THAT is your year of degree
i just hope it matches what u have already said in your step 1 and 2 applications .....

If you are still in confusion, check with your medical school. They will tell you your absolute graduation date.
