Hi everyone,

I recently purchased the pass program dvds from someone, and I was woundering if I got ripped off, because it seems that there are 71 hrs of lectures and mine aren't adding up to that.

The lectures that i have are the following:

Biochem 1, Biochem 2, GI 1, GI 2, Endocrine, Pulmonary, Renal, Immuno 1, Immuno 2, Micro, Vitamins, Neurology, Metabolic PHysio & EKG, Muscle Physio, Cell & Membrane Physio, Cardiovascular, and hematology.

The problems that I am having is that the some lectures seem incomplete.

The cardio lecture is 5hrs and 58 mins (358 mins total)... It seems incomplete, because when he starts to talk, it seems to be in the middle of a lecture.

The same is for Cell and Memb. Physio, the lecture is 3 hrs and 36 mins (216 minutes total).

Hematology seems to be missing the beginning too... its 5 hrs and 38 mins total.

Can someone PLEASE out of the goodness of their hearts check their sets and let me know if their lectures are the same and if the durations are the same as the ones that I've mentioned. Also, I've tried to search on the internet, and some people say that in addition to these lectures there are also lectueres on general physio and cardiology (in addition to cvs).

Any information would be appreciated, b/c if i ask the person I bought it from, I have a feelign that they will say that 'all's well'. Thanks to anyone who can help me. Good Luck to all.

Hi

I too have the PASS lectures on 3 dvds. I have noticed what you are talking about & just chalk it up to sloppy editing. You need to supplement the pass stuff w/FA and Goljan for path & Kaplan for genetics & molecular biology. you will then have a complete review. What I have done w/the pass stuff is to take the error riden notes from Francis Aguilar (a student) correct the errors & make additional notes from the lectures.

It's ok - don't freak - don't be nervous Nelly as I think you have the same dvds as I do. Study on & quit worrying as I don't think anyone cheated you.

Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The notes that I got w/the lectures were done by a student named Francis Aguilar. Yes, there are a lot of mistakes in those notes. Also, they don't follow the lectures real good. they are all over the place. This is what I did 1). Created an index for notes (2). Took additional notes to supplement those pages & (3). Corrected the errors by listening to the lectures.

The Aguilar notes are bad so be careful when using them. I think the guy doing the lectures has some good information. I've learned a lot listneing to him. Right now, I'm making flash cards of all the important stuff so I can study from that. I don't do good by reading the notes.

Hope this helps.
