28 y/o man brought to er by police b/c of severe pain in the right lower quadcrant of the abdomen for 36 hours. he has been incarcerated in the county jail, and his court hearing is schedule in 12 hours. take no med
abdomen show no rebound, CBC, LFT,ESR are WNL
xray of the abdomen show normal gas pattern
test of stool for occult blood is negative
dx

a. adjustment
b. conversion
c. depressive disorder not otherwise specified
d. facticious
e. hypochondriasis
f. malingering
g. somatization
