the question is not complete coz it doesnot specify the region of the hand. Hand has several small muscles. If you are looking for which part ot the root is involved then for sure it is T1. but ulnar and medial and radial also innervate.

i always have this confusion! is radial nerve involve in complete extension of the digits as well?

yes by way of supplying muscles like extensor digitorum and extensor pollicis, indicis and digiti minimi, but ulnar nerve also contributes because it supplies interosseal and lumbrical muscles which flex proximal and extend distal phalanges

Radial nerve only extend MP joint not other joints of digits......... Answer is E...whole brachial plexus.
