if i remember correctly, i think that the parasympathetic fibers given off by facial nerve to opthalamic dividion of CN V ,which then suplies the lacrimal gland!

can anyone confirm it???

chorda tympani supply ant: 2/3 of the tongue.......

Lacrimatory nucleus......Nervus intermedius......geniculate ganglion.....Greater petrosal N.....N of Pterygoid canal.....Pterygopalatine ganglion......Zygomatic N.....Zygomaticotemporal N.......Lacrimal N......Lacrimal Gland.

Lacrimal N is br of ophthalmic Nerve(trigeminal N) not facial N.
