Hi guys, i've just joined the forum today, i'm trying to get started to study for step 2 so I can take it in jan of 06, but I'm having such a hard time. I just don't know where to start. Should I read 1st then do questions or do questions first. and I forgot alot of what I studied for step 1 since it was a year ago, so it feels like I have to start from scratch again. Does anyone have any ideas? thanks

Hey popcorn ,don't worry it's all inthere.Just make areasonable schedule and start studying.Beleive me it'll come to the surface. If something really bothers u pick up the book from step 1 and quickly read about it.If u r doing kaplan lecture notes( or any other source) keep a question source handy(q book or any other).Whenever u r tired of reading do some questions or if u want u can do them subjectwise as u go on with ur reading.Keep uw till after ur first reading( or 2nd whchever u feel comf with).Strting to study is the hardest part once u get in to it,thing wud get better for u esp since u have already passed ur step 1.Now don't be afraid and get started.U can do it!!!!!

Hey popcorn, I gave the second step before the first one. [we all have idiosyncrasies dont we] And there aint that much of step 1 stuff tested...Maybe 5% or so... At least that was the case with me.... there were really few questions that I could say were out and out step 1 stuff... the rest were pretty much decipherable with step 2 knowledge.. Awaitin score report
