1. lactase defieciency and pernicious anemia
2. sudan stain or 48 to 72 hr stool for fat
3.D- xylose test :- if normal pancreatic cause and if abnormal confirm small bowel pathology then small bowel biopsy reqd.or
trypsin and secretin test to confirm pancreatic insuficiency
