Hi I am an IMG and interested in Surgery residency in the US.I am a qualified surgeon in my country and also have 3 years of experience.I want to know about chance of getting surgery in US and also any cutoff scores one must have,especially for IMG.I also want to know about US clinical exp-how to get it and its importance? I want to do residency in California -is it possible and how do I go about it

very good chances dr shah !all your previous experience will pay off.
for the cut-off score,mail the individual programs & find it out.
dont know much about CA (how img-friendly it is?), but i have friends in surgery residency ,got in this year with avg scores( 80s) in NY !
