to which side does the trachea deviate? same side or contralateral? like tension pneumothorax, this can also cause hypotension and JVD?

i would say contralateral, coz the collection of blood is going to push the trachea away. Trachea should normally deviate to the same side in Restrictive lung diseases like pulmonary fibrosis etc.
