Hi all, I finished basic sciences in April of this year and plan on taking Step 1 on Sept 10. I've been kind of looking over stuff the past month as well as having done around 600 q bank questions but haven't really aggressively tackled the books as hard as I should have. I'm wondering if there is anybody out there that studied hardcore for about 6 weeks and managed to get a high score? I'm wondering if I might not be giving myself enough time? I plan on studying 8+ hours a day for the next 6 weeks and hope to be ready by 9/10/05. Here is what I plan on doing: (Almost all of these books I've already covered during basic sciences, so it's just a matter of going back and just " reviewing". Of course I'll also be using First Aid and Q bank for everything as well. Path: BRS Path, Goljan Audio, Robbins Review Pharm: Just Kaplan lecture notes Biochem: Just kaplan lecture notes Physio: BRS Physio, Kapla Micro: Hi Yield Micro, Kaplan Anatomy: Just Kaplan Behavioral sciences: Kaplan and BRS Think this is too much of a load to cover a little over a month? Hopefully somebody out there that has done it already in this amount of time can give me some advise. Thanks!

Yes it can be done but is difficult!! Some have covered the material on schedules of 28 days. It is not som much as to how many hours per day you put but how much of that is quality time. You might be tire for some other reasons and you might get very tire after 4 or 6 hours of studying. So exercise eat well, no fats or too much of heavy foods!!! Good luck!!!!!!
