Hi there i graduated from Greece in 2002 and now living and working in australia. I passed my step 1 ck and cs and i want to take step 3 to finish with these things. i do not intend to come in usa in the near future. my queston is for step 3. do i have to register with one of the boards i meet the eligibility requirements and give them money or i just checj the eligibility requirements and tick the box in step 3 application and when i apply in one of the medical boards after say 4 years they are going to send them the results then? some states say about 3 years post graduate experience or two whatever if you are an IMG. do they mean in an accredited american program or generally? thanks con

apply to Connecticut, they don't require any postgraduate experience to take Step 3
you have to send your ECFMG certificate with your application for step 3, then take the test, and you will get results within 2 months
