it's e-congestive splenomegaly

splenic congestion sequesters platelets among other cells in the cors of bilroth and macrophages destroys those platelets, therefore in order to diagnose ITP, splenomegaly should not be present, also this is a complication tht can occur in portal HTN.

Now gues, whtz the complication of splenectomy - thrombocytosis.
