These are probably very easy ...you just need to know one basic definition to answer ...and that is exactly what i couldnot recall...smiling face

1.In a study involving 150 students the mean serum cholesterol level was found to be 176mg/dl,with a sample variance of 25mg/dl.From the data one third of the students will not have a cholesterol level (mg/dl) in the range of:

A)161-191

B)166-186

C)171-181

2.From the data,95%of the nursing students will have a cholesterol level in the range(mg/dl) of:

you are absolutely right kingsofke!....

just a little elaboration...Since variance=square of S.D...the S.D in this question would be of 5mg/dl...therefore...C for ques 1 and B for ques 2.
