Hello everybody!!! Let me introduce myself, as you can see i am new here, a med student in Paraguay, South America, finishing the basic science and thinking about to take the USMLE step 1!! i need some help!! i only have two month of summer vacations and i was thinking to study for the step 1 on that time but i dont know if that 2 month are enought or not... can anybody please tell me.. and which books can you guys recomend me.. and what about those courses that Kaplan offers? are they good enought? please if anyone can help me i would really apreciate it!

Take one day and look at every page on this site. You will find every answer you are looking for. Two months is doable, but you better be pretty damn sharp.

considering Most questions are clinical senarios, I think you need to do some clinical rotation before taking the exam

At least 5-6 months in my opinion...Althoug I know ur basic science knowledge is fresh ,but still..... Take care. Saira.
